Super Heavy Tanks

With a whole host of new GW rule changes and a shift toward to super heavy tanks is there any chance you would consider doing a tutorial on one of the new Forgeworld Space Marine Super Heavies (Glaive, Fell Blade)?

Or perhaps with rumours floating around IG release in the new year a Shadow storm or Baneblade variant in a different colour to that of the old one you did on Buypainted? A focus on the weathering would be great particularly on such large surfaces.

Another interesting thing to see would be the chrome/metallic/metal heat effect you sometimes see, which is used on the Glaive turret on the FW homepage - it transitions from bronze, through purple to black. I know I have sort of answered my question on how to achieve it but to hear what Vallejo colours you think are best and to see you execute it would help considerably.

Your work is a real pleasure to watch and drives my SM Ultramarine army on at a pace.

Whatever comes next it will no doubt be good and I very much look forward to it.

Thanks,

HTB

Very nice Ultramarines!

How you make the great "U" stamped on the side of the Land Rider?

The same way Jaro does the U on the Rhino on Buypainted but on a smaller scale. Theres a guide he produced on Youtube using a compass cuting tool. Draw one large circle, then a smaller one offset and that creates the U. Use a ruler to do the 2 boxes to finish of the U shape, and all done. Tape on, mask up and spray away, light grey, lighter grey and finally white.

HTB.
