Hi lektor...
not quite.. although i need the cork sheets too for the bases!
ha!
I'm talking about fat/large wine cork that he pins his minis into with wire.
shouldn't be this hard surely?
bill
take a bucket down to your local bar and ask the bartenders to keep them for you :)
ha!
lol... just found my girl has a bunch stashed for sentimental reasons... (who knows...!)
Anyways.. some are larger than others... just did a test and some of them are able to hold a terminator so problem solved!
Onwards with painting then!

They are a pain to get! I had to stroll around the internet to find them.
In france they sell them in stores, but expencive. In the Netherlands they are only used on very large bottles, which are not common.
So keep looking I guess.
Jaro does sell them in his shop I think
Here you go:

I have bought 5 of these, and they are great.
Oh nice. Thanks.
I have seen that site before.
I'll have to grab some and that tool that makes the hoses.

My friend and co-blogger Dieter purchased some of the corks from Jaro's store, and it took almost 2 months for them to arrive, so be aware.
If you need cork, you can go to a local shop like BEVMO, or Total Wine and more, and purchase a bag of corks in the wine making section. There are a lot, so maybe split it with your friends.
I get mine from widgetco.com. I find the #18 standard cork stopper to be just right for miniatures on a 20mm base:

They also have sheets for making bases.
