Hi
I had the same problem and eventually found out it was due to a win 7 update: update 2670838.
This update must be installed with IE10. If you uninstall it then it uninstalls IE10 and if your reinstall IE10 it reinstalls the update. The solution means you can't use IE10. I uninstalled the update and it now works fine. I have copied part of a thread that explains how to fix the issue below (I am now just using IE9 until Microsoft fix things):
see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2670838
this sounds similar to your issue. I think you should uninstall that update and hide it and see if this fixes your problem. please report back.
regards
Peter
Hy there.
Thx for trying to help, but the problem solved itself.
Just tried to stream the vids and it now works. Since I changed nothing, it seemed to be serverside.
Ah stop... made a mistake...I did change something...I reinstalled VLC media player and made sure the plug-in for Mozilla was checked...So that might be the reason it worked today.
Thx anyway for your help Peter.
At this point, I don't think I can stream these anymore; please add a 720 version, just so I can watch it on my computer.
If it isn't available, I won't be returning to the site anymore. I love your work, Jaro, and you can happily keep my subscription fee; I have learned so much from your site over the years. However, it's just disappointing, because I really want to watch.
Thanks,
Just subscribed because I love the YouTube videos, but can't stream videos on my iPad or iPhone. The video will start playing but will stop after only 2-3 seconds and then will start buffering, but won't play at all. Very disappointed. Checked back on YouTube and no issues streaming whatsoever. Why won't the vids from this site stream?
Yeah same here. I just download the videos. I no this isn't really viable for limited space on a Ipad. But On my phone I have like 100GB so no dramas.
This is actually getting really annoying
He knows that we cant stream vids and is still not fixing the issue or telling us anything.
Its all fine to download them although sometimes i just want to quickly watch one of the videos or get a quick look at the paints and its not very feasible to wait 1 hour for the video to download to do this.
Come on Jaro, fix this problem.
Just download your videos to youtube and play through that.
Can't stream either on Nexus 10". Have to download which goes relatively fast so its not a bandwidth problem.
