Paint consistency?

Hello Jaroslaw!

I wanted to see if you could provide some advice on how to get the right paint consistency.

Your paints seem perfect for detailing without running or clumping. I've tried GW and Vallejo mixed with water and Thinner Medium and can never get it as consistent as yours.

How do get such great consistency? Thanks!!

With me, you generally want to get your paint the same consistency as milk. This is the easiest way to explain it- the amount of thinner depends on how much paint you're using, so aiming for a milk-like consistency is the best advice I could give.

good question,
Les from awesomepaintjob is the same.
Really great consistency.
I was thinking the same thing the other day.
i think its how much paint you load on the brush.
you should just be covering the tip.
that is all.
I guess the answer is just paint everyday and practice practice practice!
