Give the Guy a Break!!

I feel I have to say something here as All the comments are very one sided of late...

So come on guys don't you think your all being a little unfair?? Jaro has previously stated that he has been hit with bouts of ill health & apologised for this even though in reality its really out of his control to a certain degree...

The comments some members on here have left have, at times, been rather harsh in my humble opinion & the latest comments of people requesting your money back in, again in my humble opinion, have taken the biscuit!

lets face it Guys we all love a bobbie that cost more that most would like to admit & yet I bet there is not one of you out there, including myself, that hasn't at some point bought at least one model kit that is still collecting dust on a shelf somewhere, or been discarded & thrown in the bottom of a box... Yet the cost of these models are neither refunded or companied about?

Jaro on the other hand has, albeit at times scarcely, posted several very well put together & informative videos that have helped each & everyone of us in one way or another! OK so we've not had at least one video every month but hey in the last week Jaro has posted Five new videos & yes this may have been after nearly two months of nothing, at least on average thats more than two a month!! & yet since posting the videos only two comments have been posted... Shame on you! All of you! Jaro could have easily charge a whole lot more for people to become members on here & in turn made a lot! of cash doing so, but he didn't... why? I believe because for him is about sharing the knowledge & for what each of us paid for a years membership to this site we could have spent at least ten times that on models collecting dust!!!

For those then have complained... you've said your peace Please just leave it at that & for the rest of us out there.... Jaro you STILL have our support! & well wishes & I for one hope your on the mend soon.

I can see why people are not that thrilled with the service they have paid for. I paid for a year because of the monthly polls as I thought that was a real cool idea.

I enjoy Jaro's work a heap but he has let down the subscribers. All he had to do was be a little more transparent about what is happening. If he was sick at least say that due to health issues this month will have no content but the next month will have double. Surely he has someone that can be available on the forums at least once a week.

That being said, it was $36 over a year. Like the site says about $3 a month. Would I pay again, probably no unless those polls came back. I hope Jaro gets better and can focus more on this site as if he did, this site could be really cool. Plus I wouldn't mind seeing some lotr/hobbit minis done as well.

I agree with you Chunky!
I am sure that Jarosław is doing his best. Despite his health problems he is regularly updating this website. Each movie is long and detailed, showing us every step of the painting process.
Jaro ? I?m still going to support your work, and wishing you good health and success in all you do!

Well, it's possible to want to support Jaro and ALSO think he's done a pretty shitty job with the website so far. Most of the comments have been trying to suggest better methods or borne out of frustration from a lack of communication.

I don't really get your 'we've bought things and not used them' argument at all. A more accurate description of what's happened here would be buying a model and a couple of pieces are missing. The rest of the model is really great, you love the company's work and are happy to support them, so you just phone and ask for the other parts. But it goes to answering machine and no-one gets back to you. So you email. Still nothing. Suddenly, you still really like this company but their customer service suuuuucks! So you tell them that it would really be a great idea to get a guy in to answer the phones. Of course, this gets ignored cos no-one's answering the phones!

So you're left with a product that is 90% great but isn't actually the product you wanted as it was advertised. You're not really sure what to do with it either because no-one seems to be listening.

Kind of annoying.
