This standard is supported by Microsoft Windows, Apple OS X, Google Chrome, gaming consoles, smart TVs &c. plus it is natively decoded by virtually all graphic hardware including mobile devices' integrated chips.
So basically unless you are running Linux or Windows 2000 versions of Opera or Firefox on a device with graphical chipset older than 5 years, you should be fine.
